A lighthearted prediction in dark times

There are so many things that could be said about the covid-19 crisis, and so many of them that are probably better said elsewhere. If nothing else, hopefully this gets me back in the habit of writing. Leaving aside more serious topics, I have one bet for the next year:

Beards are done.

Beards have been back in fashion the last few years (I can’t really grow one, I’ve tried and it’s just really patchy ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ). But beards interfere with masks and respirators. Ok, it looks like goatees are still allowed, but do we all really want to go around looking like the evil, darkest timeline version of ourselves? Actually, I guess that fits.

Beards are out. Goatees are maybe in.
